A STORY OF 3 GENERATIONS
The Antegnatica farm is home to a closed-cycle pig livestock farm, part of the Parma and San Daniele PDO ham circuit.
The high volume of animal waste produced within the farm inspired the Bianchi family—owners and operators of the company—to evolve towards the valorization of livestock waste.
With the release of the 2018 decree-law, it became possible to transform the biogas plant, which was already producing electricity on the farm, into an innovative biomethane purification and liquefaction plant.
This is how Antegnatica Energia was born in 2019, which today obtains bio-methane and bio-LNG in a completely organic way, allowing a consistent carbon absorption and offering its customers a zero-mile product.
